We won’t go into all the reasons for this, but suffice it to say that while the same fund may be published in Spanish-language periodicals as well, those publications may be harder to access, or too obscure for you to know about and find, so the funders place ads in more widely-read blogs and sites, knowing that upwardly mobile Spanish speakers like you are also fluent in English. So don’t be left out. If you cast a wider net that includes English-language postings (such as the page you are reading right now, and the Spanish scholarships listed right here, for instance) you are much more likely to find a higher number of opportunities leading, ultimately, to the best scholarship open for Spanish speaker applicants like you.
